Flevo Campus LIVE 2021

Flevo Campus LIVE is an annual event for students and young professionals working or interested in the food system. During LIVE we invite you to take charge of your future as a changemaker. Students and young professionals will come together to think about, talk about and, of course, eat some (locally grown) food. Topics that will be touched upon are inclusive food systems, regenerative agriculture, the protein transition and upcoming food trends.

We are the new food system

What’s on the program?

09.30 – 10.45 | Keynote speakers
We have invited two keynote speakers to kick of LIVE 2022. These speakers are experts regarding sustainability, facilitating change and inclusive food systems. Soon we will announce their names! Stay tuned.

10.45 – 12.15 | LIVE Youth Panel
How can young people contribute to change? Five inspiring youths share their best and worst practices. In a panel discussion they will dive into diverse topics such as promoting the protein transition, research and food trends and regenerative agriculture.

12.15 – 13.30 | Local Lunch
It’s time to fuel our ideas and treat ourselves with some good food. Local chefs have prepared a delightful lunch for us with ingredients based on the ‘flavour of Flevoland’.

13:45 – 15.15 | Workshops with food experts
Last but not least. Time to get to action! Today’s final act will consist of five workshops, each guided by a food expert and youth facilitator. This year’s topics include: education, entrepreneurship, research and governance. With the workshop we’ll dive into these topics and produce a tangible outcome of a whole day of inspiring talks and discussions. When signing up, you can indicate your preference for a specific workshop.

What’s in it for me?

Covid Guidelines

At LIVE we will follow the current guidelines and advice of the RIVM for the whole duration of the event. At the moment, this means that there will be enough space to keep 1,5 meters distance. All participants and organization will be asked to show their vaccination or test proof with a QR code on arrival. If there are any changes we will inform you by email.
