Research student

Sara Adriano is an Italian undergraduate student, who is currently attending a Master course in Food Innovation and Management, at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo (Italy).

 

From March to June 2022, she will be conducting anthropological research with Flevo Campus, regarding the Latin food culture and gastronomic identity of migrant women in Almere. The goal of the project is not only to discover the food heritage of Latin migrant women of first and second generation but creating a space of cultural exchange through the gastronomic narrative, which is a simple tool to share the complexity and fluidity of our current food system and highlight the crucial role that women actively play in it.
