Cook book author, TV chef and founder of SOUQ
Nadia Zerouali is a cookbook author, former winner of the Golden Cookbook and TV chef, presenter and researcher of inspiring, good and honest food. She was born and raised in Winterswijk, with roots in Morocco. She discovered the love for food at a young age. She was always baking and cooking with her mother and she learned about traditional Moroccan dishes at home. After the Hotel School and a Marketing and Communication study, she is sure that food and cooking are her future. Connection through the kitchen window is what drives Nadia, this is also reflected in her work as ambassador of Flevo Campus and co-founder of LowFood. In addition, Nadia runs the Couscousbar in Amsterdam together with Samira Dahmani and she is a partner in Nadia & Merijn’s SOUQ, an Arabic product line whose products can be found in supermarkets. Nadia and Merijn try to source their products for SOUQ as much as possible from small to medium-sized companies and to offer 100% natural products.
